KERRY Katona was left in disbelief after being told she’s been making a toilet faux pas for decades.
The 42-year-old revealed on a BBC podcast that she has always flushed her used tampons down the loo.

But when she was told doing so was a big no no and can cause blockages in the sewerage system, she was shocked.
During the chat, Kerry said: “So when you take your Tampax out, what do you do with it? Where do you put it?”
Comedian Alison Spittle replied: “I just swing it round my finger and hope for the best.”
Reflecting on her bathroom etiquette, Kerry said: “I’ve always put it in the toilet… am I not supposed to do that?”
Alison quipped: “I just don’t like the thought of my tampon hitting a wild swimmer. You know, like a lady who’s just come out for a swim in the river.”
Researching the proper way of disposing of a tampon, Kerry then said: “I’ve got to Google this now. No you can’t! Oh my god! ‘No, tampons can cause plumbing blockages that can lead to sewage backflow.”
Kerry is currently on a sunny family holiday.
She was pictured snogging her fiancé Ryan as they smoked shisha and downed cocktails outdoors.

She wore her blonde locks up in a bun and her tattoos on display as she packed on the PDA with Ryan.
Their outing comes after the pair sparked rumours that they’d actually married.
Ryan was seen with a ring on his fourth finger in a series of amusing pictures of the pair in Turkey.
The 33-year-old was shown grabbing one of the Atomic Kitten superstar’s boobs, with the ring clearly visible.
It appeared in shots of the pair arriving at Turkey’s Antalya airport, where Ryan leant over to kiss her.
He then put a hand on her breast – with Kerry screaming with shock.
Singer Kerry and personal trainer Ryan have been together for more than five years, with the couple getting engaged in 2020.
They have been discussing their wedding ever since, though Kerry recently said she was no in rush to say ‘I do’ again.
She wrote in her New magazine column: “Me and Ryan fight like cat and dog but I love him to bits and I know I’ll be with him forever.
“In all honesty, I don’t know when we’ll get married. I just think if something is good, why change it? Why do we need to get married?”
