KELLY Brook has opened up on her “honeymoon from hell” with her husband of two years, Jeremy Parisi.
The couple struggled to cram in a special trip away straight after their gorgeous Italian nuptials in 2022.

As such, Kelly suggested a South American adventure – courtesy of BBC reality show Race Across The World’s second celebrity series – could tick the box.
The former pin-up, 44, and model, 39, had a relatively modest budget of £1,100 each with which to traverse the likes of Chile and Brazil – all the while battling intense heat, giant crabs and map-reading.
And while Frenchman Jeremy was impressed at how “strong” his spouse was – his conduct raised her eyebrows.
Kelly, who often presents gardening segments on This Morning, told Closer Magazine: “We hadn’t had a honeymoon and I said to Jeremy we should consider this as a fun alternative, a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
“At times, it was the honeymoon from hell – at other times it was absolutely glorious.
“It’s got to be the most memorable honeymoon ever.”
Talking of the Race Across The World challenge – which sees pairs of competitors racing to be the first at a final destination – she added: “I didn’t realise how competitive he [Jeremy] was, like, crazy competitive.
“I’m much more about the experience. I think I got on his nerves because he was full steam ahead.
“If Jeremy was doing the race alone, he’d have finished it in a week.
“I was kind of slowing him down a little bit and I was like, ‘let’s have a Brazilian barbecue one day or let’s go to the beach.’
“I was grumpy at times – every night we didn’t know where we would be sleeping – but I think he was surprised how strong I was.
“At some points, I was carrying both of our bags.”
Her comments come after she admitted she had never travelled on public transport before the show.
On the programme, the stars are banned from taking flights or using mobile phones and bank cards – making it a tough ask.
Race Across The World – Winners so far

Since launching in 2019, BBC travel competition series Race Across The World has had four series to date. Let’s take a look at back at the winners so far…
- Series one: Elaine and Tony Teasdale: This married couple, who are retired PE teachers, won the very first series of Race Across The World.
- Series two: Emon and Jamiul Choudhury: The uncle and nephew duo emerged victorious in the show’s second outing.
- Series three: Tricia Sail and Cathie Rowe: These lifelong friends became the first non-familial pair to win a series.
- Series four: Alfie Watts and Owen Wood: Both aged 20, these friends bested four other pairs to win series four.
Kelly will be battling it out on the series alongside a Radio 2 DJ and Ted Lasso star, The Sun exclusively revealed.
Kola Bokinni, who played Isaac McAdoo on Ted Lasso, has signed up, as has BBC Radio 2’s Scott Mills with fiancé Sam Vaughan.
Joining them in the cast is Jeff Brazier and son Freddie, who The Sun announced would be appearing on the show last year.
At the time, a source told The Sun: “Kelly has travelled all over the world with Jeremy – and she’s really competitive so she’ll be brilliant TV.
“Both Kola and Scott are fans of the show so jumped at the chance to take part.”
Kelly and Jeremy will also be fronting a new daytime series, La Dolce Vita, which will track their lives after quitting the UK to move to rural Italy, for ITV.
