KEITH Lemon is known for being woefully single but Leigh Francis, 50, the man behind the mask, is happily married with two children.
The comedian who met his wife Jill Carter when they were teenagers, usually prefers to keep his personal life out of the spotlight, but made an exception by posted a series of snaps to mark her birthday.

Writing in a caption he said: “Happy birthday to the most wonderful person I know, love you very big.”
The couple who’ve been together for 30 years, married back in 2002 in a ceremony at Allerton Castle in North Yorkshire.
In an interview where he gave a rare insight into his personal life, Leigh described his wife Jill, a beauty therapist, as his rock.
He told mail online: “Everyone thinks that we wake up and the comedy starts, but it’s not like that. She sees the real me, the grumpy me. She holds it together for in the family, Jill is an amazing woman,” Jill does everything, she is the best. I love everything about her. She is so special and is a brilliant mum to our kids.”
The couple have two daughters together and live in North London, but have never shared pictures of their family life online.
Indeed Leigh admits that with Jill, who bears a striking resemblance to the Princess of Wales, he is punching above his weight, but insists that it’s only natural to aim high in the beauty stakes.
He said: “When everyone meets her, they say ‘he is punching’. Why would I want to date anyone who looks like me? Everyone should punch above their weight when they are dating!”
The happy couple have been together since 1991, having first linked up when they were 19 and 16, respectively.
