Katie was forced to pull out of a recent work event after being sent a threatening message.
Speaking on Living With Lucy, Katie said: “I’ve had three kidnap threats, been held at gunpoint during a hijack in South Africa with Princess and Junior while we were filming. That was two years ago. We thought we were dead.
“I’m on high alert here, which is why I’ve got a guard dog.
“A few weeks ago I had things vandalised. My front gate was vandalised.”
Katie continued: “I had a threat last week before I was going to a Horse Show, they said ‘we know you’re going and we want a word with you.

“I get threats all the time. I don’t know who or where they are, but you can’t live your life worrying, you just get on with it.”
Katie has bravely spoken about the carjacking while filming for her reality show in 2019.
She pulled over to the side of the road to go to the toilet with her kids and a film crew when three thugs forced their way into their 4×4.
A minder was hit in the face and gems, cash, laptops and camera gear worth tens of thousands of pounds in total were snatched.
She later revealed she thought she was going to die during the incident.
“We’d just got out of the car to have a wee – all of us. Six guys pulled up with their guns and said: ‘We’re going to shoot and kill you.’”
She added: “I said: ‘You’ve got to kill me, you’re not getting to my kids.’”
