Katie has been going up and down the country as part of her first solo nationwide tour but some have insisted that her singing vocals leave little to be desired.

The star was even savaged by cruel trolls as she shared a video of her in rehearsals practising her most-known song, I Got U.

Katie uploaded the clip of her belting out the track but faced harsh feedback.

Hitting out at her vocals, one critic said: “Wtf was that.”

Another went on to insist that Katie sounded like a “cats chorus”.

Someone else furiously asked: “Sorry but what on earth is going on here!?”

Before a fourth quipped: “Who’s told her she can sing ffs.”

Katie has famously tried her hand at music a number of times throughout her career.

She first tried to carve out a music career with pop bop Not Just Anybody when she went up against Javine Hylton in a bid to represent the UK at Eurovision.

The mum-of-five went on to try again by releasing an album of duets with ex Peter Andre entitled A Whole New World.

Since then, she has released a line of stand-alone singles, namely Free To Love Again in 2010, I Got U in 2017 and Hurricane in 2019, all of which failed to have a significant impact on the charts.

However, some fans who had attended the shows defended the star as they pleaded that attendees would have an enjoyable evening.

“I went and they were all brilliant ! Had a great night and such a lovely down to earth girl,” said one fan.

As someone else said: “What an amazing night!!”

Katie’s podcast tour has also not been without some other worrying issues.

The double bankrupt star has been forced to slash ticket prices to just £10 after failing to sell out any venues during the tour.

Katie is set to appear in at the The Clapham in London on Friday – but ticket prices have dropped by over half the original price in a bid to fill seats.

Tickets were priced at £29.99 each, but are now being flogged at £10 on seat filler website Central Tickets.

The famous sisters are also hitting Bristol, Glasgow and Newcastle in the upcoming weeks.

It comes after Katie’s 400-seat venue in Birmingham last night failed to sell out – leaving her forced to flog tickets at the last minute.
