Katie Price checks herself out as she’s driven away from community service on her birthday after losing her licence

KATIE Price celebrated turning 45 today – but she still had to go and do her community service.

The star has been working at a charity shop after being ordered to carry out 170 hours of unpaid work.

Katie was driven away by on-off fiance Carl Woods after having her driving licence taken away.

The star was seen yawning and looking in the mirror of the car’s sun visor at he drove her back home.

She was seen sat in the passenger seat of the gleaming Mercedes, which had a ‘Keep calm and carry on’ air freshener dangling from the rear-view mirror.

At one point it looked like Katie – who has been reposting birthday messages all day – was squeezing a spot.

The star has to do unpaid work after breaching a restraining order after sharing “vile and nasty” messages aimed at her ex-husband’s fiancée Michelle Penticost. 

The TV star admitted the charge at Lewes Crown Court last year and was handed an 18-month community order.

She has to carry out 170 hours of unpaid work and pay £1,500 in costs and has been working at a a St Catherine’s Hospice furniture store.

Colleagues there admitted they thought “here we go” when the star’s 4×4 car pulled up at the shop.

However, they told the Mail that Katie had quickly become “one of the lads”.

One explained: “She immediately got to work doing what she was asked without question, and appears to have no airs and graces.

“No job has been beneath her, and actually she’s been a great laugh, smiling and chatting away. She’s just like one of the lads.”

The Sun revealed this month that Katie’s licence has been medically revoked meaning she could wind up in court if she gets behind the wheel again.
