KATIE Price has bought another puppy just eight weeks after the death of her protection dog Blade.
The self-proclaimed animal lover, 45, bought the young German Shepherd dog at the weekend and has named it Tank.

Katie’s latest purchase comes as a petition to stop her owning pets following the deaths of at least seven pets has reached 35,324 signatures.
A source told us: “Katie is well aware that there’s strong feelings towards her and pet ownership. The pup is still too young to leave the house, but Katie is keen to keep Tank on the down low for now.
“She was heartbroken after Blade’s death and is determined to keep Tank safe. In time, it could grow into her new protection dog and fill the void left by Blade.
“Katie has always lived by her own rules and she’s adamant she’ll prove her critics wrong and give Tank a loving home.”

The Sun has contacted Katie for comment.
Katie previously said police were investigating Blade’s death after she claimed the dog was killed as an attempt to get at her.
The German Shepherd died after being hit by a vehicle on the A24, which is close to Katie’s East Sussex home.

She said: “Blade, my guard dog, unfortunately, it upsets me to talk about, but has been killed by somebody, he wasn’t just run over. He was killed. There is a police investigation about it.”
The tragedy happened just seven months after another of Katie’s dogs, Sharon, was killed on the same road.
A driver picked the Pomeranian off the A24 and took her to Arun Vets in Pulborough, West Sussex, who confirmed the death.
The year before that, a delivery driver hit her Alsatian, Queenie, who was gifted to her by ex Kieran hayler on her 38th birthday.
In 2020 a second Alsatian, Sparkle, was hit by a car after escaping onto the A24.
Months later, French Bulldog Rolo suffocated after being squashed underneath a chair.
Katie also had to give away an out-of-control Alsatian, Bear, for attacking other animals.
Last month she gave fans an insight into life at home with her pets.
She said in a TikTok video: “The guinea pigs wind the dogs up, and the dogs wind the guinea pigs up.

“If it’s not the kids, it’s the animals, and if it’s not the animals, it’s me. My house is just bonkers. Honestly.”
