Kate Middleton will embark on a new royal “mission” in 2025 involving Prince Harry. A new report claims that the Princess of Wales has learned “life’s too precious” after both she and King Charles faced cancer in 2024.
Kate Middleton is reportedly leading a 2025 royal reunion
Kate Middleton spent much of 2024 focusing on her health after a cancer diagnosis earlier in the year. Right around the same time the Princess of Wales, King Charles also found out he had the disease.
While the palace did not disclose what types of cancer both the monarch and his daughter-in-law experienced, each spent the better part of the year in treatment. Kate discussed how this experience gave her pause about what was truly important in several Instagram posts and in a video where she declared she had finished treatment.
However, a source close to the royal family told Life & Style Kate’s new mission is to get the royal family to reconcile. This reconciliation would bring Prince Harry back into the family fold after he left his role as a senior royal in 2020.
“Kate wants the family to reconcile. With the king’s health continuing to decline, there’s only so much time for that to happen. Kate is on a mission to bring Harry home.”
“Kate doesn’t like waiting around for things to happen anymore. She’s learned life is too precious. She fears time is running out,” the source continues. “She’s already reached out to Harry, who was receptive. The main objective of her plan is for Harry to return to Britain and make amends with Charles.”
Prince Harry reportedly hasn’t met with Charles directly since he flew to the United Kingdom in February upon learning of the monarch’s cancer diagnosis. Harry told ABC News, “Look, I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with [King Charles], I’m grateful for that.”
A royal expert believes Kate Middleton is the only person who can heal royal family feud
In December 2024, royal expert Katie Nicholl told The Sun’s Royal Exclusive that Kate Middleton is the only person who can heal the royal family feud between Prince William, King Charles, and Prince Harry. She is in the unique position of peacemaker if she wishes to claim the role.
Nicholl explained that Harry using drama between him, Kate, and William to paint a negative narrative about the royal family may be unforgivable. However, Kate may overlook some things in the past to make future peace.
She said, “Kate’s been thrown under the bus by Harry. He’s said hurtful things about her, and he’s brought the children into the narrative. I think Prince William remains very, very angry and upset and feels very betrayed.”
Nicholl continued, “Possibly the Princess of Wales is still open to reconciliation in some form. I still feel it’s quite early.”
“But I do think when you go through something like a cancer diagnosis and you go through the sort of journey that she has done, and you confront your mortality, you realize life is far too short for rifts and family feuds. Perhaps that will be a role that she will play at some point in healing that rift because I think we look to the royal family as a symbol of unity,” the royal expert concluded.

He claimed there was often a sense of competition within the royal family, with public appearances and popularity playing a key factor.
