Here’s what a celebrity psychic predicted about the Princess of Wales not appearing in public for a few weeks.
Royal fans were left confused and some a little worried after the Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton) was a no-show at a major event with her husband, Prince William, and the rest of the family.
After attending King Charles‘ Trooping the Colour birthday parade on June 14 and the Order of the Garter on June 16, Kate did not attend the Royal Ascot on June 18. She was, however, on the guest list for the horse-racing festival which had some concerned about why she pulled out.
Here’s more on that, and why you won’t be seeing the Princess of Wales by William’s side for a while.
No cause for alarm over Kate’s absence, Palace source says
While Kate was on the June 18 Royal Ascot guest list, royal sources told Express that was an error and the Palace previously informed the racecourse that she would not be in attendance.
But every time the princess isn’t seen somewhere, there’s speculation about her whereabouts. That became such an issue in 2024 that Kate actually had to record a message announcing she had cancer to shut down the ridiculous rumors being spread about where she could be. And according to a celebrity psychic, royal watchers should get used to not seeing Kate around for “a few weeks.”
Earlier this month, psychic astrologer Inbaal Honigman read the princess’s Tarot. She predicted then that Kate would be absent from some events and out of “public view for a few weeks,” but it’s not a cause for concern.
Honigman drew a “5 of Pentacles” card for the princess and, speaking on behalf of Fruity King told Showbiz Cheat Sheet: “The suggests that Catherine is missing from public view for a few weeks. This doesn’t appear planned and there seems to be no statement made, but the princess is just resting following a busy period that includes travel and excitement. This is a well-earned, quiet break.”
William has a series of upcoming engagements and Kate will not be with him
Prince William has several engagements coming up on his calendar, but his wife will not be joining him. Some of the events the future king will attend include the climate festival on June 24, the “Nature’s Guardians: On the Road to COP30 & Beyond” on June 26, as well as “Investing for Impact” for London Climate Action Week. The princess is not expected to attend those since she usually doesn’t appear with the prince anyway at his environmental engagements.
Honigman also read William’s tarot in early June and predicted that he would be teaming up with another high-profile woman for some of his conservation efforts. She pulled “The Queen of Wands” card, which suggested that he would be gaining a famous partner for support in those efforts.
“The Queen of Wands card predicts an interesting work partnership, seeing William team up with a lady known for her charity endeavours, and also for her glamorous approach to life,” Honigman said.
On June 19, the Prince of Wales and movie star Cate Blanchett visited a U.K.-based biotechnology lab together to highlight the benefits of sustainable fashion. Blanchett is also an Earthshot Prize council member.
