This princess means business.
Kate Middleton looked crisp in a cream blazer and black trousers as she launched a new task force in London on Tuesday.
The Princess of Wales, 41, wore an Alexander McQueen crepe jacket ($2,190) with an ivory sweater underneath as she held the first meeting of her Business Taskforce for Early Childhood, pairing the look with tailored black pants and a black belt.
She wore her hair down in a soft blowout, adding a pair of glittering diamond hoop earrings with an oak leaf design by Asprey ($8,985).
Middleton added her often-worn black Gianvito Rossi suede pumps ($675) for the event, which was held at NatWest bank’s London headquarters.

While her blazer appears to be the same Alexander McQueen suit jacket she’s worn on previous occasions, her older style is a bright white color while today’s is a warmer cream shade.
This isn’t the first white blazer moment the mom of three has had in recent days, with the princess having sported a tweed Zara jacket for a school visit last month.

The new task force is made up of UK business leaders who will help carry out the royal’s mission of improving early childhood outcomes.
“I know businesses are feeling the pressure across the board,” the princess said in a speech.
She added that “investing in early childhood, with a specific focus on social and emotional development” will help bring employees with qualities such as “better communication, better working relationships, improved resilience … and increased job satisfaction.”
