Kate Middleton and Princess Charlotte sweetly match in blue for Trooping the Colour 2025

They had a mommy and me moment.

Kate Middleton and her daughter, Princess Charlotte, were twinning Saturday at the former’s first Trooping the Colour parade since her cancer went into remission.

The matriarch wore a dazzling aquamarine coat dress with ivory lapels by Catherine Walker for the annual royal event in London. She accessorized the elegant look with a matching wide-brimmed hat by Juliette Botterill and Queen Elizabeth’s Bahrain Pearl Drop earrings.

Meanwhile, Charlotte, 10, opted for a dress that was a similar shade to her mother’s, as well as a white waist bow and white flats. She wore her long, light brown hair half-up, half down and tied with a braid.

Her brothers, Prince George, 11, and Prince Louis, 7 — who also rode in a royal carriage with their mom — had their own matching moment. The siblings wore black suits, white dress shirts and red ties.

Their father, Prince William, met up with them at Buckingham Palace shortly after the carriage ride. He sported a traditional military uniform.

Middleton, 43, made a brief return to her royal duties amid her recovery from cancer at last year’s Trooping the Colour parade.

She wore a white long-sleeved coat dress trimmed with a black bow as she rode in a carriage with her children.

She styled her hair in a classic low bun and added a matching black-and-white Philip Treacy hat. She finished off the look with a pair of Jimmy Choo pumps and her Cassandra Goad pearl earrings ($6,061).

Middleton typically wears Alexander McQueen coat dresses to the annual event. But she notably opted to wear beloved designer Jenny Packham.

She also strayed with a different designer for the event in 2023, wearing an emerald green dress by Andrew Gn. The gem-colored beauty featured embellished blue-and-green buttons marching down the front.

Her choice of a Singaporean-born designer held special meaning, as Prince William’s Earthshot Prize ceremony was held in the country that year.

Middleton completed her cancer treatment in September 2024 and by January, the princess announced that she was in remission.

“It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focussed on recovery,” she posted via Instagram while sharing photos from a surprise visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital.

“As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead.”
