She wrote: “Sorry for the radio silence, my poor baby had a freak accident on Tuesday & ended up breaking a bone in his finger and then need nail bed surgery.
“I’m a complete emotional wreck mumma right now.”
The stress is the last thing Kate needs right now as she’s heavily pregnant with her second child.
Earlier this month Kate revealed that she is having a C-section with her next baby after a terrifying labour with Cree.
The mother-of-one, who welcomed her son with husband Rio, 44, two years ago, opened up about wanting to plan ahead.
Expectant mum Kate, 31, revealed she had an emergency C-section during baby Cree’s “traumatic” birth back in December 2020.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star was left “completely wiped out” after heading for the surgery last minute during her birth.
Now, Kate has revealed that she’s planned ahead to have a C-section again after the trauma of her previous birth.

Speaking on The Motherkind Podcast with Zoe Blaskey, the soon-to-be mum-of-two admitted she wasn’t taking any second chances.
“I’m having a C-section because I had to have an emergency one last time, and that’s OK,” Kate admitted of her upcoming birth.
“Last time, I had an emergency C-section, and I had all the way pushing and then it went wrong,” she added later.
“I’ve kind of had both births [already]… I think I know what I’m doing and I’m hopeful that it might be easier.”
Today, Kate also showed off her blossoming baby bump in a new Instagram snap, as she donned a tight-fitting dress.
The star – who is also step-mum to Rio’s three children Tate, Lorenz, 16, and 12-year-old Tia – placed a loving hand on top of her bump as she posed in the mirror.
“This little one is taking all of mummy’s energy, but I know that means she’s growing nicely,” she penned in the caption.
“Bloody knackered, but extremely grateful.”

Kate opened up about her pregnancy in a sweet video last month, as she confirmed to fans she was expecting a second child.
It comes after Kate revealed she suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage last year, leaving her “devastated”.
