KATE Ferdinand has revealed she has written her second book – and is now a children’s author.
The former Towie star, 31, who is pregnant with her second child, is hoping to help blended families like her own with the new book, named The Family Tree.

Kate is mum to Cree, two, with husband Rio Ferdinand, 44, as well as being step dad to his kids Lorenz, 16, Tate, 14, and Tia, 1.
Their mum Rebecca tragically died from breast cancer in 2015 at the age of just 34.
Kate told her followers today: “I can’t quite believe it as I was so excited to share my adult book, but I’ve also been working on something special to help the little ones.
“I’m so happy & excited to finally share the cover for my upcoming children’s picture book: The Family Tree illustrated by @emmarandall_uk with @puffinbooksuk.
“Another big moment as I have been working on this for such a long time. So many exciting things are coming together & I’m just so glad I can finally share this with you all.

“I’ve written this book with blended families in mind, but I love that it’s such a cute story for whatever type of family you are.
“Meet Ash and Willow, who LOVE baking! They used to bake with their mum, but now she is gone they bake on their own.
“Until Dad introduces them to his new friend Hazel. Can Ash, Willow and Hazel work together and bake a showstopper for the Great Beetle Bake Off?
“I hope you love reading this book with your family as much as I loved writing it! It is out on the 8th of June.”
She previously told how she has written How To Build A Family, which she described as a “modern parenting handbook”, which is also available for pre order.
Kate announced she was pregnant last month, after revealing she suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage last year, leaving her “devastated”.
