TV personality Dr. Phil explained how Kanye ‘Ye’ West and Kim Kardashian’s kids could end up in the foster care system. Here’s what may go down.

Kanye “Ye” West and Kim Kardashian are at odds following West’s release of a song that includes their daughter and Sean “Diddy” Combs. West released the track “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine,” which includes North West, against Kardashian’s wishes. West went on a tirade against Kardashian on X. Now, rumors suggest Kardashian may seek full custody of their four kids. Here’s what TV personality Dr. Phil McGraw said about how the exes might lose custody of their children.

Dr. Phil says Kim Kardashian and Kanye ‘Ye’ West losing custody of their kids is ‘absolutely a possibility’

Dr. Phil McGraw is known for hosting his talk show, Dr. Phil. While he doesn’t personally know Kanye “Ye” West or Kim Kardashian’s current situation, he’s kept up with West’s online ramblings. According to McGraw, Kardashian and West might be at risk of losing their children. Kardashian and West share North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5.

“What we do not want is for these children to wind up in foster care,” McGraw says on TMZ’s 2 Angry Men podcast, “because that system is broken. … And you think, ‘Well with this kind of money, they’re not going to wind up in foster care.’ That’s wrong. If DCF gets involved and thinks one parent is not reacting and the other parent is unstable, they will take them. Now, they’re likely to put them with a family member rather than strangers. But, you don’t want these children hung out to dry.”

McGraw noted that it is “absolutely a possibility” for both parents to lose their children in this situation. “This isn’t even a close call that she could lose custody of these children,” he continued. “I’ve not met Kanye. I’ve certainly not evaluated him. I cannot render an opinion on what his pathology is or is not. But, the behavior that is observable is troubling.”

In addition to Kardashian and West’s fight over their daughter’s involvement in a track containing Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kardashian also took issue with North being in the same room as the Tate brothers. Andrew and Tristan Tate face human trafficking charges, among others. West reportedly invited them to his recording studio when with North, causing uproar from Kardashian.
