Justin Bieber’s former manager Scooter Braun reveals where they stand amid growing concern for singer

Scooter Braun has Justin Bieber’s back — from afar.

The talent manager described where he and Bieber stand in Monday’s “Diary of a CEO” podcast episode, admitting their relationship is not “the same as it was.”

“I think there comes a point where I understand he probably wants to go on and show that he can do it,” the 43-year-old, who had “such extreme success” working with the singer for 15 years, said.

“I think you get to a point as a man where you want to show the world you can do it on your own,” Braun continued. “And I completely respect that.

“I think at this point, that’s what he’s doing,” he added. “Myself and everyone from the old team is rooting for him.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Braun looked back on his early days with the Grammy winner.

“He was a very special, special talent and a very unique individual,” the Hybe America CEO gushed to listeners.

The two began working together in 2008 when the American Music Award winner was 13 years old, but their professional partnership came to an end in 2023.

Bieber canceled his “Justice” world tour over health concerns the previous year, and we hear he still owes Braun millions of dollars in debt accrued.

“He stepped in to help him,” a source told us in May of the eye-popping sum, which TMZ claims is $8,806,000.

In addition to Bieber’s alleged financial woes, Braun’s comments come amid growing concern for the songwriter’s well-being in recent months.

The Hollywood Reporter reported in April that Bieber’s inner circle believes he is “lost” and “disintegrat[ing].”

At the time, an insider told the outlet, “There’s no one protecting him because there’s no one there willing to say no to him.”

Bieber’s rep clapped back at the report — and at “harmful” speculation about his alleged drug use.

His wife, Hailey Bieber, also hit back at rumors of marital woes in her Vogue cover story last month.

“You would think after having a child, people would maybe move on, chill out a little bit, but no,” the model, 28, said in May.

She and Justin, 31, have been married since 2018 and renewed their vows in 2024 amid the Rhode creator’s pregnancy.

They share a 9-month-old son named Jack Blues.
