Justin Bieber’s rant at paparazzi went viral. Here’s what he said, and how he poked fun at himself a while later.

In a widely shared clip, Justin Bieber irritably tells paparazzi that he’s “standing on business.” People have largely mocked the video for Bieber’s overuse — and misuse — of slang. It has gone viral on social media platforms, and many people have commented lines from the rant on Bieber’s accounts. The singer recently poked fun at himself on his Instagram account.

Justin Bieber told paparazzi he was ‘standing on business’

On Thursday, June 12, Bieber left Soho House Malibu and walked out into a crowd of paparazzi. He confronted them.

“Not me today bro,” he said, per Page Six. “How do you think it’s going with you in my f***ing face? Get out of my f***ing face!”

Bieber told the group to leave him alone as they continued to photograph and film him.

“I don’t know you. You don’t go to people you don’t know and say s*** out of nowhere with a camera in their face,” he told them. “It doesn’t matter if I’m a celebrity or not. It doesn’t matter if I’m a public figure.”

He expressed his frustration that they continued to “provoke” him.

“You’re not getting it, it’s not clocking to you,” he said. “It’s not clocking to you that I’m standing on business.”

“It’s not clocking to you that I’m standing on business” has gone viral on social media. People have tried to interpret what he meant by it, discussed the way the line has stuck in their heads, and used it as a sound over various other videos.

Bieber recently responded to his viral moment on his Instagram account. He shared a series of photos of himself on his story with songs playing over them. The songs included “Stand on Business” by Myia B Music, “Standing on Business” by Soulja Rilla, “Dat Business” by Fredo Bang, and “Standing On Business (S.O.B.)” by 28thbby. While he didn’t directly address the memes, his posts prove that he’s aware of them.

He recently posted about his anger

In the video of Bieber confronting the paparazzi, he tells them that they’re making him angry. He has referenced his anger in several recent social media posts.

In a statement to his followers, Bieber addressed their concerns and repeated requests for him to seek help.

“Don’t you think if I could have fixed myself I would have already?” he wrote. “I know I’m broken. I know I have anger issues.”

He also shared screenshots of a text conversation with an unnamed friend.

“I will never suppress my emotions for someone,” he wrote. “Conflict is a part of a relationship. If you don’t like my anger you don’t like me.”

When the friend said they just weren’t used to someone “lashing out” at them, Bieber said their friendship was “officially over.” He then called the friend a “p****” for calling his anger “lashing out” and blocked them.
