Julie Bowen has opened up about her “Modern Family’ co-star Sofía Vergara’s newfound single life following her divorce from Joe Manganiello.
Vergara, 51, and Manganiello, 46, revealed they were calling it quits after seven years of marriage last month.
“Everything she does, she does with grace,” Bowen told E! News. “And she rises above and she just goes forward. She’s warm and generous and giving to everybody around her.”
“I have no doubt that if she wishes to be in a relationship she will be but she sure don’t need one,” she added.
When asked if she’d be open to a night of dancing with the Colombian beauty, Bowen said, “I would like that very much.”

“Oh, but she would be so mad at me because I can’t dance,” the 53-year-old continued. “She’s such a good dancer. She just does this slow hip roll for hours. And that’s a lot of what hanging out with her is — it’s slow rolling it for a long time.”
Elsewhere, Bowen — who played Claire Dunphy on the hit ABC sitcom — said she and Vergara haven’t seen much of each other this summer as they’ve both been away on their respective vacations.
“We’re gonna have to see,” Bowen said when asked when she’s seeing Vergara next. “She’s been traveling a lot and so was I. We have to wait for the summer to cool down.”

Page Six revealed last month that Vergara and Manganiello were parting ways after seven years of marriage.
“We have made the difficult decision to divorce,” the couple told Page Six exclusively.
“As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”

A source also told us that the pair had been “growing apart for a while” and had chosen to take “some distance from each other to contemplate their future.”
Manganiello soon filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.
He later hired high-powered celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser, who has represented stars like Kevin Costner, Angelina Jolie, and Kim Kardashian.
