New York Fashion Week is BYOB: Bring your own body.
Julia Fox is famous for her shocking style statements, but her latest accessory pick might just give you nightmares.
Fox closed out NYFW Wednesday night by lugging a life-sized black “body bag” by Toronto-based designer Mikhael Kale down the streets of Manhattan.
More soft sculpture than satchel, the creepy vinyl creation stands 6 feet tall and weighs 3.5 pounds, the brand tells Page Six Style.
It’s topped with a platinum blond wig for added realism, and even wears towering platform boots nearly identical to the 10-inch-tall Pleaser pair Fox picked for the evening.
“Seeing Julia Fox wearing my pieces is a dream come true; she was a muse of mine for this collection,” Kale shared in a statement.

The corpselike style is a far cry from the Hermès Birkin bag Fox received from ex Kanye West for her birthday last year, which she later said was too “scary” to carry while out and about in a New York Times interview. (She might not have been exaggerating, as she claimed in 2022 that another of her Birkins was “actually attacked by a machete” during an unlucky outing.)
The 33-year-old “Uncut Gems” muse was definitely the one causing a fright this time around thanks to her humanoid handbag, which she paired with a matching cropped moto jacket from Kale’s collection and a gray cotton miniskirt from the Seks x Hanes collaboration she also inspired.
Fox also debuting fiery red hair and matching brows as part of the look, which comes on the heels of a series of outrageous NYFW street style moments for the star.
Along with sitting front row at several shows this past week, Fox hit the runway for designers including the controversial Alexander Wang — a decision she later defended on TikTok.
We’re guessing there’ll be more than a few critics of her latest look, too … but at least she’s got someone to lean on this time.
