RADIO 1 presenter Jordan North was forced to apologise after swearing live on air yesterday.
The DJ, 32, let slip the expletive while chatting to his co-host Vick Hope and it didn’t go unmissed by listeners.

Reading out a message from a caller, he said: “For me, it’s fitted s**ts.”
Quickly realising what he said, Jordan gasped: “Oh god, sorry, sorry , I apologise, I am so sorry. I meant to say sheets.”
Laughing, Vick said: “They are really annoying.”
Jordan added: “I am really sorry if you are on your way home from work, I do apologise. I was meant to say fitted sheets.”

He then proceeded to burst into laughter as Vick took over reading the message.

The Burnley based host previously held the 11am to 1pm slot on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
But Jordan became a household name when he appeared on I’m A Celeb in 2020 alongside stars including Jessica Plummer, Vernon Kay, Shane Richie and Mo Farah.
He made it all the way to the final, but was pipped at the last minute by author and presenter Giovanna Fletcher, married to McFly’s Tom.
And shortly after that – in September 2021 – he took over from Nick Grimshaw on afternoon drive time on the BBC channel.
He now presents the 3.30pm to 6pm show with Vick Hope Monday to Thursday.
Speaking ahead of starting the big gig, Jordan said: “I do have a reputation for going out. Since I left university ten years ago I’ve worked every single weekend in my radio jobs.
“I am so happy now that I get my Friday and Saturday nights back and I can go out. I don’t have to worry about going to bed really early.
“I can get up, go to the gym and go to work at 12. It’s the dream.”
