Jonas Brothers share group hug in first performance since Joe filed for divorce from Sophie Turner

The Jonas Brothers shared a group hug on stage in their first performance since Joe Jonas filed for divorce from his wife of four years, Sophie Turner.

The frontman appeared in good spirits as he took the stage Wednesday night at Footprint Center in Phoenix, Ariz., alongside his brothers Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas.

Joe was notably not wearing his wedding band while rocking a pink patterned jacket with matching pants layered under a white T-shirt. He completed the look with white sneakers.

Earlier in the day, the father of two was seen taking the former couple’s daughters — 3-year-old Willa and a 1-year-old whose name begins with the letter D — to breakfast in Los Angeles.

Joe, 34, filed for divorce from Turner, 27, on Tuesday, claiming that their union is “irretrievably broken.”

The musician’s filing states that although the pair’s kids have been residing primarily with him, he wants “shared parental responsibility” after they part ways for good.

Per the documents, the duo has an ironclad prenuptial agreement in place.

In a joint statement shared via Instagram Wednesday morning, they explained, “After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage.

“There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”

However, an insider close to the singer told Page Six that “divorce was a last resort” for him.

“He never wanted to break up his family, but he had to take what he felt was the best course of action for his girls,” the source explained, adding that “an unhappy home isn’t a home.”

Our insider went on to say that Joe and the “Game of Thrones” star — who tied the knot in May 2019 — “were going through it this year” and had “many disagreements.”

Though our informant did not elaborate on the nature of the disagreements, sources told TMZ that the two have “very different lifestyles.”

According to one insider, “She likes to party; he likes to stay at home.”

Though Turner was spotted taking shots at a bar in England — where she’s been working on a TV series — a few days before the breakup news broke, Joe referred to her as “the homebody in the relationship” in an April 2020 TikTok.

That same year, the actress told Conan O’Brien that she was “loving” the coronavirus pandemic-induced lockdown, calling herself an “introvert.”

“If I could stay at home all day, I would,” she said at the time, “so this is great for me.”

Meanwhile, sources close to Joe claimed to TMZ that incriminating footage of Turner caught via a Ring camera also contributed to his desire to call it quits.
