JESY Nelson’s ex Zion Foster has confirmed their break-up with a short and sweet message on Instagram.
The Sun revealed the couple called time on their relationship after nearly two years together last month.
Commenting in the captions on a TikTok about the break-up, Zion simply wrote: “Beautiful woman inside and out, wish her nothing but the best.”
The pair have unfollowed each other in recent weeks on social media – and Jesy has since wiped all traces of Zion from her Instagram.
A source: “Jesy and Zion split last month and have completely cut ties with each other.
“It’s not the first time they have broken up but friends think it’s for good this time.
“It’s slightly awkward though because they had an EP ready of music they have made together and Jesy doesn’t want it released now.
“Fans have already heard one of their tracks and were hoping for more, but it’s looking pretty unlikely at this point.”
The pair first broke up last summer when Jesy was struggling with their nine year age gap.
However, just four months later they were seen loved up on TikTok together, signalling they were working things out.
They even released a single together, titled Mine, back in August, with Zion also a rising musician in his own right.
It reached the top ten in the UK’s iTunes charts – but she has now deleted the Mine single cover from her Instagram grid.
Jesy is currently in America working on new music as she continues to forge a career away from Little Mix.
The star left the band in 2020 in order to pursue a solo career, with her 2021 single, Boyz, reaching number four in the UK chart.
However, in 2022 she split from record label Polydor, despite an album being in the works and “almost finished”, and her follow-up single Bad Thing didn’t achieve the same success.
Since then she has been working on new material as an independent artist, although her first solo album is yet to materialise.
