Jenna Bush Hager isn’t a fan of Kourtney Kardashian’s bathroom picnic.
During Wednesday’s episode of “Today with Hoda & Jenna,” Bush Hager and co-host Hoda Kotb discussed Kardashian’s now-viral photo of her food-filled bathroom.
In the snap, the reality TV star’s bathroom floor was covered with different vegan meals, including a salad, “chicken” fingers and a half-eaten burger sitting on the toilet seat.
However, what was supposed to be a romantic, relaxing setting between Kardashian and her husband, Travis Barker, didn’t sit right with the 41-year-old TV host.
“I don’t like the idea of bringing food into the bathtub or anywhere close to that area,” Bush Hager shared.
“Guess what happens in there? The same thing that happens in my bathroom that’s a lot smaller.”
Although Kotb, 58, tried to “play devil’s advocate” by arguing that it’s normal to “relax” with a glass of wine while taking a bubble bath, Bush Hager continued to defend her stance.
“There are certain rooms called dining rooms, [and] kitchens, and they were named that way because the bathroom, one or two activities are supposed to happen there,” she replied, adding that “eating is not one of them.”
“But having a nice drink in the tub is OK,” Kotb argued, promoting Bush Hager to clap back once again.

“I don’t really do that either. I’ll have some tea, maybe. Yes. But eating food? Eating a burger?”
Kotb admitted that she was just trying to get her co-host riled up, agreeing that she would “never” eat actual meals in the bathtub.

However, the conversation proved to be quite controversial, with many fans divided on whether or not it’s sanitary to bring food into the bathroom.
“Food on the toilet 😮 that’s nasty,” one person wrote under Kardashian’s post.
Another added, “That bathroom scene is what nightmares are made of.”
Yet a third pointed out, “People are commenting about food in the bathroom but you take your phone in the bathroom and then have it at the table taking pics of your food…same difference. Let Kourt live!”
“Why not? Most people’s bathrooms are cleaner than their kitchens. It’s also a low-stress environment which helps your body relax and digest food better,” someone else argued.
All the backlash didn’t seem to bother Kardashian. She reposted the image to her Instagram Story, writing, “the comments about this photo” with the eye roll emoji.
