Jason Kelce has raised some concerns over his brother Travis’ safety as his romance with Taylor Swift continues to reach new heights.
“It’s certainly been weird, the level that it is now,” Jason, 35, told NBC Sports on Sunday, of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s budding romance with the singer.
“On one hand, I’m happy for my brother that he seems to be in a relationship that he’s excited about [and] that he is genuine about. But there’s another end of it where it’s like, ‘Man, this is a lot.’”
Jason said that the constant media attention centered on his brother’s love life has reached “another level of stardom.”
“There’s paparazzi talking about him fueling his car before the game today and I’m like, ‘Is that really necessary information to share?’” the Philadelphia Eagles center continued. “This is another level of stardom that typically football players don’t deal with.”
“So, on one hand, [I’m] really, really happy for my brother and where he’s at in his current situation with Taylor. But on the other hand, there’s some, I think, alarms sometimes with how you know, over-in-pursuit people can be,” he added.
“There’s some alarms, sometimes, with how over-in-pursuit people can be,” continued Jason, who co-hosts his “New Heights” podcast with brother Travis.
“Overall, he can deal with some of this. As long as it’s not becoming a threat to his safety and things like that.”

It seems as though Jason is not the only one concerned about Travis’ safety, as the Super Bowl champion himself purchased a $6 million mansion in Kansas City for more privacy, according to a report.
Kelce last week signed on the dotted line to close the deal, making him the new owner of a plush pad that boasts a waterfall, swimming pool, and mini golf course, TMZ first reported.
The luxe home is nestled in a gated community, offering unparalleled privacy for Kelce and any guests that stay over in the future.
As for his romance with Swift, the 12-time Grammy winner was spotted at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., cheering on her beau during his match-up against the Los Angeles Chargers Sunday.
