Jamie Foxx has been ‘out of the hospital for weeks’ despite ICU claims: daughter

Jamie Foxx has been out of the hospital for weeks despite conflicting reports, his daughter Corinne confirmed on Friday.

“Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild,” Corinne, 29, wrote of the “Ray” star, 55, on her Instagram Story on Friday. “My dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating.

“In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday.”

She thanked everyone for their “prayers and support” amid his recovery.

Corinne shared the statement following reports that Foxx’s family was “preparing for the worst” amid his hospitalization.

Another source had falsely claimed that Foxx was on life support in the ICU.

But Foxx’s daughter set the record straight, and even teased, “We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!”

Last month, news broke that the “Django Unchained” actor had been hospitalized with a mystery illness.

Corinne revealed at the time that he was rushed to the hospital over a “medical complication.”

“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” Corinne shared on Instagram.

“We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”

His health issues came following reports that he had a meltdown on set of his new movie with Cameron Diaz. And amid his hospitalization, the movie temporarily paused filming but resumed days later with a body double for Foxx.

In April, reports surfaced that Foxx’s health was improving steadily. And another source confirmed that Foxx was awake and alert.

But this month, Nick Cannon temporarily replaced Foxx as a host on “Beat Shazam” amid concerns.

Foxx broke his silence amid the health scare, taking to Instagram on May 3 to thank his fans for their supportive messages.

“Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed,” Foxx wrote in an Instagram post along with emojis of praying hands, a red heart and a fox.
