JAKE Quickenden has been forced to defend his pregnant wife Sophie after she appeared “disappointed” to discover she’s expecting a baby boy.
The couple shared their gender reveal moment with fans on Instagram – but Sophie came under fire over her reaction.

The 31-year-old – who has two little boys already – suggested she’d been hopeful for a girl when she cried out: “For God’s sake.
“I knew it. Ah man, where are all the girls at?”
One fan asked: “How can you be disappointed?”
“The mum’s reaction wasn’t great, especially for the other children,” said another.

Defending his wife, I’m A Celebrity star Jake wrote in the comments: “We are over the moon, as long as the little one is healthy and happy that’s all that matters.
“Soph would have liked a girl to back her up, but we are so used to boys and we couldn’t be happier.
“Can’t wait to see if he looks like Leo, can’t wait to watch Fred and Leo with him….
“Now we need to get a name??”
Jake and Sophie discovered the gender of their unborn baby while perched on the floor with their son Leo, aged three, and Freddie, 10 – Sophie’s son from another relationship.

A huge cream-iced cake took pride of place in the middle of the table, alongside two champagne glasses.
The pair then turned away as they slid the glasses into the huge bake, to pull out a blue-coloured sponge filling.
Jake could be heard squealing: “It’s a brother, it’s a brother.”
Meanwhile Sophie, slightly less animated, chirped: “For God’s sake.
“I knew it. Ah man, where are all the girls at?”
Jake continued to ramp up the excitement with his lads as he again told Leo: “It’s a boy – you’re going to be a big brother.”
Sophie then said: “Another boy,” while looking at the blue cake mix before scoffing a piece.
