JADE THIRLWALL was a pop princess as part of Little Mix – but her bandmates once tried to make her real royalty by teasing they’d set her up with Prince Harry.
The Angel Of My Dreams singer has revealed Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock suggested the pair could be an item when they met the Duke of Sussex, at the Royal Variety Performance in 2015.

She explained: “I was single at the time and all the girls were like, ‘Oh, Harry. You could be in with a chance!’. I was like, ‘Oh, God, here we go’.
“They were being those sort of friends. And then, he is going down the line and I started getting nervous.”
Likening it to 2001 movie The Princess Diaries, in which a teen girl discovers she is heir to the throne, Jade added: “I wasn’t even a***d but suddenly it was like Princess Diaries in my brain.
“I shook his hand and I think it was Jesy who was like, ‘Ohhhh’. I was like, ‘Not in front of the Prince of England!’.
“I’m all for wing women, but not in that situation. He must have thought, ‘What a weirdo!’.”
Jade, now dating Rizzle Kicks’ Jordan Stephens, added to Nick Grimshaw on his BBC Sounds podcast, Sidetracked: “I can’t flirt anyways, so there was definitely nothing like that.
“Maybe I did a slight over-linger on the handshake, to catch a vibe. There wasn’t one. I wish him well.”
Last month, the singer revealed the release date of her brand-new single.
She shared the album cover on Instagram, which saw her sat on the floor in a light blue dress with angel wings.
Jade, 31, told fans that Angel Of My Dreams was available to buy from July 19.

The update went down a treat, with followers sharing their excitement in the comment section.
