IF YOU’RE confused about what’s going on between Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne, imagine how they must feel.
Navigating a marriage break up, especially with young children, is painful and difficult enough, but the perpetual on/off cycle they seem trapped is enough to drive anyone to distraction.

Normally by the time a celebrity couple release a statement publicly announcing their split while asking for privacy, things are pretty final.
The writing has long been on the wall, the relationship is definitely over, and there’s no going back. Indeed, in this case, Dan has already left the family home and moved into a bachelor pad.
But here’s where things get puzzling – it appears that one of the first ladies he entertained there overnight was his not-so-estranged wife.
Let’s be honest, this is an upsetting twist.
It’s almost impossible not to be disappointed – not in Jacqueline, but for her.
A fact that has apparently escaped her seems obvious to all of us – she deserves so much better.
Of course no mum wants her family to be separated, for the kids to live apart from one parent, so it’s clear why she’s putting so much effort into trying to resolve things with Dan.
But also, she is setting an example to her two young daughters about the way men treat women, establishing a template for the kind of behaviour they will accept when they grow up, showing them how worthy of respect she considers herself.
Jacqueline was so strong and resilient in the I’m A Celebrity jungle, and the entire nation clearly believed in her, voting her the 2019 winner.
What a shame that she doesn’t seem to believe in herself.
Jac is reportedly keen to try and save the 8 year marriage, instead of thanking her lucky stars she’s finally rid of her errant husband.
The father of her two daughters, Ella, nine and five year old Mia, reportedly let it be known that he “no longer loves her” and wants to “move on with his life.”
This after years and years of rumours of alleged infidelity including – deep breath – a fling with Love Islander Gabby Allen, another with a mystery woman just months after their wedding, who Jac confronted while pregnant, and a threesome with a model and a reality star.
Jacqueline briefly left him in 2020, with Dan admitting to having made mistakes, adding, “I’ve done things I shouldn’t have done.”
Sometimes a well-handled, thoughtful, considered break up is better than staying together for the kids, come what may.
Even if they’re too young to really understand, even if you’re exhausting yourself putting on a brave face, desperately trying to convince them everything’s fine, they can always tell what’s really going on underneath all that.
Jacqueline is better than this.
Rebuilding her life will be challenging, there’s no denying that, but anyone who watched her in the jungle can attest, she is more than capable of thriving in challenging circumstances.
She doesn’t need Dan Osborne. She is enough.
The most heartbreaking thing about this situation is that everybody seems to know that, except her.
