Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to the United States after spending just under two years as official working royals. Recently, there have been claims that Harry is looking for a fresh start in the UK, but those rumors are being combated.
Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, left the United Kingdom back in 2020 to begin a new life in the United States. Meghan was born and raised in California, so she has always felt comfortable there. But for Harry, the move was a little more of an adjustment.
There have been rumors lately that Harry is no longer interested in US life and is instead hoping to get his foot back in the door of the royal family. However, inside sources say his California life isn’t going as poorly as everyone claims.
Prince Harry is ‘happy and settled’ in California, per insiders
Harry and Meghan moved to the US with their son, Prince Archie, more than four years ago. They have since welcomed a daughter, Princess Lilibet, and are raising both kids in Montecito, California. But there have been rumors recently that Harry is struggling to enjoy life in the US.
Of course, Harry had to adjust when he first arrived. Having spent his whole life in the UK, it’s no surprise that the move came with some difficulties. But there have recently been rumors that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are looking for a way to return to the royal family, but that reportedly isn’t the case. At least, not according to sources who claim to be close to the prince.
Sources told The Telegraph that Harry has an “amazing set of friends” in the US and that he’s not looking to leave his new life any time soon. The prince reportedly has “no interest” in returning to royal duties. Harry and Meghan previously said during their visit to Nigeria that they are “really happy” with their lives in the United States, so it seems that while Harry does want to improve things with his family, he is not looking to relocate or split his time.

When Harry and Meghan stepped down, they needed to find new ways to make money. Harry was paid generously for his memoir, “Spare,” which sold more than one million copies, and the two did a number of sit-down interviews to discuss royal life. They spoke with Oprah Winfrey and even produced a Netflix documentary.
But now that the couple is done telling their story (or so it seems), they’ve built a life in California running new businesses. Harry continues to focus on his Invictus Games Foundation, while Meghan is in the midst of launching her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard. Meghan is also reportedly working on a new cooking show for Netflix. It seems that between their newfound income and raising their kids in the US, the two aren’t looking to leave any time soon.
