FROM reality TV sweethearts to bitter legal battles, Katie Price and Peter Andre’s war of words has spanned 16 years.
And, judging by recent events, it’s far from over.

Their romance began in the Australian jungle, where Katie and Peter fell in love during I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2004.
They were Britain’s golden couple – marrying in 2005 at Highclere Castle, welcoming two children, Junior and Princess, and sharing their life with the public.
But since their 2009 split, the pair have been locked in one of the most public celebrity feuds of the past two decades.
Last night Peter hit out at his ex’s “lies” in a shock social media rant, after remaining mostly silent on the feud for more than a decade.
Peter, 52, issued a scathing statement rejecting Katie’s call for a truce — and making explosive claims about their past.
Katie broke her silence and hit back, declaring she “will no longer be gaslighted and bullied” and that the issue is “now in her lawyers’ hands.”
Peter Andre’s statement in full
Peter hit back after Katie’s claims on her recent podcast that she was being frozen out of Princess’s career – despite Princess living with her.
Peter wrote on Instagram: “For sixteen years I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silence has been incredibly frustrating.
“That ends today.
“The latest comments about my children’s welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight.
“For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood.
“In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before out of respect for my children.”
“In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases found my ex wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise, to me and my management.
“The same falsehoods are being repeated today.”
“Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations that I have yet to address. Those will be dealt with in the coming months.”
His statement came just hours after Katie claimed that Princess was living with her on her latest podcast.
She said: “I’ve missed out so much with Princess. I haven’t watched the show, but, people have told me how proud I should be of the kids and how they Princess does talk highly of me all the way through it so although I’m not in the show she speaks about me all the time which is really sweet.
“But why wouldn’t she, because she lives with me. And this is another thing I need to clear up, the kids have never lived just with Pete, we’ve shared the kids.”
Here’s how the feud unfolded over the years.
Libel damages (2011)
Two years after their split Katie issued a public apology after accusing Peter of cheating and faking his feelings during their marriage.
He had begun defamation proceedings in 2009 over remarks she made to Heat magazine and on The Graham Norton Show.
Katie was ordered to pay “substantial” damages, which Peter’s solicitor confirmed would go into a trust fund for Katie’s eldest son, Harvey Price.
Fake family man claims (2013)

That Christmas, Katie appeared to target Peter in a series of tweets.
She said: “What kind of Dad doesn’t let their children see their mum not even 1 day over Christmas when the children want 2 c their mum #fakefamilyman.”
She also messaged a follower, saying: “So selfish. Can someone remind him he has a son called Harvey that calls him dad or was that just for show too”.
Calling Emily Andre ‘disgusting’ (2022)
In early 2022, Katie launched an Instagram tirade against Peter’s wife, Dr Emily Andre, before quickly deleting the post.
She shared Emily’s magazine cover shoot and branded her a “disgusting person”, writing: “My mouth has been shut for so long but I’ve had enough of people selling stories on me and particularly this so called woman @dr_emily_official.
“Always said I don’t want to be famous yet doesn’t do too bad to stay away from media and TV and now trying to make a career out of it.
“So cringe she has used my children to make money in photo shoots yet covers her own children’s faces up!”

Katie also claimed Emily is a doctor who “doesn’t have a clue about a mental health” and accused her of being “jealous.”
She went on: “Oh and stopped my daughter from visiting me at The Priory when she wanted to see her mum. She is so jealous of my relationship I have with Princess and puts me down.
“Emily you are not and never will be my kids’ parent so mind your own business… I think you’re a disgusting person so stop trying to interfere in my life.”
Branding Pete ‘a nobody’ (2024)
Appearing on the podcast Anything Goes with James English last year, Katie claimed Peter “was no one before he went in the jungle”.
She added: “When we did jobs together I’d always get more money, make sure we had separate contracts.
“I think he found that a bit hard as well. I was like well hang on you’ve just turned up in the jungle, I’ve already got a career going on. You had a song like, how many years ago? you need to earn it. this is the truth, I don’t care what anyone says I made Pete again. I made him.

“He was no one before he went in the jungle and that’s the truth, that’s not me being a b****. He done that one hit, like 10 years ago and I think he forgets where he came from.”
Then on Louis Theroux’s podcast that same year, Katie launched another blistering attack.
Taking a swipe about his singing career, she said: “Who was he?
“I was already like established. He met me and it was his lucky day. So we always had separate contracts. There’s no way I’m splitting half and half, no thanks.”
Asked if they were on good terms, she added bluntly: “Don’t speak to him.”
When questioned on the reason, she said: “Just don’t. It’s all through legals.
“He was quite jealous of me working.”

She also claimed Pete had taken control of Princess’s career and she had been cut off from supporting her.
Princess launched her first reality series, The Princess Diaries, over the weekend, which was filmed earlier this year.
Some scenes were filmed in Ibiza and Katie said she was banned from meeting up with Princess despite being on the island at the same time as her.

Katie has made her feelings clear on her show over recent months that she was annoyed she was ‘banned’ from appearing in Princess’s ITV 2 reality show.
And today, she has insisted that she’s a “bloody good mum” to her five children and wants to sit down with Pete to discuss their issues once and for all.
The OnlyFans star said : “There’s no reason why both parents just can’t be there to support her. Now this isn’t about me. I have to clarify this.
“I don’t care that I’m not in Princess’s show.
“I don’t need to raise my profile by being on Princess’s show, I do enough stuff.
“All what I want to do, is just whatever my daughter does, and it’s the same with Junior, I don’t care if I’m in the background, but I want to watch her do her photo shoots, I wanna watch her do her signings, because that’s what I did.
“And my mum and you and Nan used to come along and support, and I’m proud of her.
“And I just wanna be there with her because I now I feel that I’ve missed out on so much.
“Life would be more at peace because I don’t have a problem.
“I just think life would be a better place.
“Well, I’m not saying we all have to be best buddies, best friends, but come on.
“For the sake of the children, there’s room for everyone to support your kids.
“Do you know what I mean? I’m not saying I have to stand with them and play happy families.”
