I’m a Celeb star Marvin and the This Morning host Rochelle are currently living in rented accommodation after selling their former £3.3million home nearby.
They have bought a 236x141ft plot of land for £3.4million and have now applied to the local council for planning permission to knock down a partially-built new build which was never completed.
But they want to keep the basement and build a new ground floor with a grand entrance hall, reception room, morning room and boot room.
There will also be the usual kitchen, lounge and living room but with a piano.
If it gets the go-ahead, the new build will also have his and hers upstairs dressing rooms for former singers Marvin and Rochelle and even a “glam room” in keeping with their showbiz status.
In a design statement to the local council, their planning agent said: “The new dwelling has been thoughtfully designed to blend in with its characterful surroundings.
“Taking inspiration from the traditional architecture of the area, the proposed design incorporates classic elements and proportions.

“Careful consideration has been given to the choice of materials and details ensuring that the new structure complements the existing fabric of the neighbourhood.
“This approach underscores our commitment to thoughtful, considerate design that enhances the overall quality of the built environment.
“The massing has been moderated for the size of the plot to harmonise with neighbouring buildings, maintaining a proportional balance that respects the established architectural rhythm.”
The agent added: “We feel that the proposal presents a high quality architectural response to the existing site in terms of size, scale and materials.”
“We believe the existing site, with its current uncompleted structure, is of detriment to the conservation area and the restoration of the site as an occupied residential site is very important.
“The proposed development aligns with the characteristics of the conservation area and will have a positive impact.”
Rochelle has an Instagram account dedicated to sharing all about her new forever home and has previously posted a snap of the framework of the old house, saying: “Did someone say new chapter?”
Planners are expected to make a decision on the proposed development by Christmas (December 25) and there have so far been no objections from neighbours.
