Ice-T is brushing off haters amid backlash over a playful Christmas video of his 7-year-old daughter, Chanel, twerking.
“My advice is you go into 2023 with THIS attitude if you want to WIN,” the rapper and “Law & Order: SVU” star, 64, captioned an Instagram upload Monday.
“Everyone is going to hate you anyway,” the message read, “so you might as well give them a reason.”
Hours earlier that same day, Ice-T’s wife, Coco Austin, posted the controversial footage of Chanel to Instagram, telling her followers that the first grader “loves to joke.”
In the festive video, the little one crashed her adult family members’ filming to show off dance moves of her own.
“Gotta love family time,” the model, 43, wrote. “Chanel runs out in the middle to bust a move to make us laugh.”
Austin later clarified in a comment that her child was making fun of a character from ‘Bob’s Burgers” named Tina Belcher.
While many social media users made the connection to the Adult Swim show and praised the little one’s imitation, others slammed her mom for sharing it.
“My first time I ever disagreed with you,” one follower wrote, while another added, “Not a good look at all 😮.”
Austin and Ice-T, who married in 2002, have both clapped back at the parenting police multiple times since welcoming their daughter in 2015, defending everything from breast-feeding to stroller usage.
The dancer broke down in tears in November while telling Tamron Hall about the hate she receives online.
“I’m underneath a microscope all the time, and you don’t hear what good you do,” she explained. “You don’t hear the goodness, you just hear a lot of bad.”
Austin noted that she has “put everything aside” for Chanel, adding, “[I] want a little respect from people.”
Ice-T made a virtual appearance at the time, calling his wife the “best mother Chanel that anyone could possibly imagine.”
