HE may have been a member of one of the biggest pop groups in the UK, but in 2023 life looks a little different for former Hear’say singer Danny Foster.
Whilst his pal Kym Marsh, 47, shows off her best moves on Strictly Come Dancing in front of millions of viewers across the nation, Danny, now 44, enjoys a more quiet daily routine with yoga and meditation.

The music star, from London, recently revealed to fans of the noughties pop-band Hear’say that he’s been practising the two for close to two decades now.
Chatting to his followers on Instagram, Danny said: ”Meditation has been in my life for more than 17 years now – it’s absolutely foundational.”
As well as incorporating meditation sessions twice a day, the former English singer makes sure he moves his body – and here he swears by something called The Magic Ten yoga poses, as well as 5k runs, mobility and stretching.
In terms of his diet, Danny, who’s been married to his wife Victoria Goddard for over five years, follows a plant-based lifestyle.
”Recently, we watched the documentary of the Blue Zones on Netflix and that really inspired us to really put more plants into our everyday living.”
After the band split, Danny swapped the hectic life for a more relaxing one – and it seems that his social circle has since changed too.
Speaking of his friends, the yoga fanatic said he likes to surround himself with people ”who are working in their life and their awareness and expand their life in such a beautiful way”.
The grand finale of Hear’Say wasn’t the end of Danny’s music career – he popped up on The Voice in 2013 to perform a unique version of the Spice Girls hit Wannabe.

Sadly, none of the judges turned around for him.
Two years later, in 2015, he suffered a dramatic car accident where he was forced to flee a fire in a car, The Sun reported.
As well as living a more zen life compared to his band days, the 44-year-old also runs a retro soul act with his wife called Danny Foster & The Big Soul Corporation.
”I’ve got to a stage where I have a great routine in my life,” Danny revealed, adding he’s changed the way he uses his phone.
Rather than spending endless hours pointlessly scrolling on social media, the former Hear’say star keeps the device ”completely out of bedroom”.
The alarm – a peaceful tune – will come from another room and Danny will head to meditate straight away, he said.
Last year, there were rumours of the ex-band making a reunion, as the fellow former star Suzanne Shaw admitted: “I’d love it to happen!”
Unfortunately, earlier this summer, the 41-year-old mum-of-two revealed that fans will be left sorely disappointed.
Speaking to new! magazine, Suzanne said: “It would be wonderful but I think that [chapter] is closed.
“I just don’t get the sense that we are all on the same page and – as much as I would love to and that would be amazing – I have very fond memories of that time.
“But I think it would have happened by now if that would have been an option.”
