FIFTEEN years after her fame, former Big Brother star Lisa Appleton has been reflecting on her time on the show.
The reality TV star first rose to fame alongside her then boyfriend Mario Marconi as the first couple to enter the house in 2008.

The pair competed on the ninth series of the iconic reality show where Lisa came in eighth place and Mario was the fourth person evicted.
But in a new interview, the star reflected on her time on Big Brother and how her time in the house was not a pleasant experience.
She even attempted to kick down the door of the house as she desperately wanted “a pint, a kebab and to buy some new lip gloss”.
Speaking to Closer Magazine, she said: “I even cut my hands kicking the door down. I was like a pressure cooker, I wanted to go.
I was stressed that Mario was gone after the housemates kept putting him up for the vote each week.
There was a pub right outside and I thought, ‘I just want to go there, I’m not bothered about winning’.
Mario proposed in the Big Brother House on the Channel 4 days, and the pair tied the knot in 2010.
However, after eight years together the duo decided to call it quits.
Initially, their immense popularity with viewers meant a life of fame and luxury and the pair even lived in a mansion together.

However, interest in the couple waned, the deals dried up, and Lisa was forced to claim benefits.
She was initially forced to move to a rat-infested home as their marriage fell apart.
She then resorted to living in a treehouse for £5 a day whilst she struggled to make ends meet.
At the time she even confessed that she developed an addiction to sausages.
She told the outlet that she once blew her entire budget as she bought bangers in one day.
At the time she told the Sun Online that she was still positive about the future as she explained: “I am staying in the tree house because I can’t afford enough money for a deposit on a shared room in a house yet.
“It’s £5 a night and the farmer who owns the field is lovely and said I can stay for as long as I like.
“It’s basic but it’s a roof over my head. I’m trying to make it feel more homely by putting out pictures and nice things. I know it won’t be forever.”
15 years after first entering the Elstree Studios house, she now works as an Amazon delivery driver.
But the former Glamour Girl also has a new career as she makes exclusive content for a price on the adult subscription site OnlyFans.
