MUSIC megastar Fab Morvan has opened up about his surprise career change after losing a high-profile court case.
Milli Vanilli was faced with scandal when it was revealed that the two “singers” weren’t really singing any of the tracks, but they were simply the face of the group.

The 80s band was made up of Fabrice Morvan and Rob Pilatus.
The pair had won a Grammy for Best New Artist in 1990 after their wildly successful Girl You Know It’s True album was released in 1989.
However, it was later discovered that the duo was only the face of the group, and didn’t actually sing all the songs that they put out.
Their fame came crashing down when their track skipped during an MTV performance and they were forced to confess.
Fab, 57, revealed that his attorney costs “wiped him out” and he was left worrying about how to make ends meet.
He told The Times: “When it became public that we didn’t sing, nobody wanted to touch Milli Vanilli.
“An advance for a world tour had to be paid back, and I had to pay attorneys to defend me against a class-action lawsuit.
“The lawsuit was formed by people who saw a way to make money. If you kept your stub, you’d get your money back.

“Who keeps their stub when they buy music? They went after the record company and they went after Rob and Fab as individuals.”
The French dancer said he was forced to change careers and decided to become a language teacher.
“I won, but my attorney costs wiped me out.
“So I brought a lawsuit against Frank Farian for unpaid royalties.
“I lost, and had to start from scratch, working as a French teacher for a language school in LA.”
The French-German duo enjoyed success during the late eighties, with their second album – ‘Girl You Know It’s True’ – reaching No1 in the US charts.
The band’s success dried up in the early nineties after the public discovered Morvan and Pilatus weren’t providing the vocals.
It was actually John Davis and other session musicians – credited as backing singers – who sang the group’s records.
They won the best new artist award at the Grammys in 1990 but were forced to return the honour after the damning revelations came out.
Milli Vanilli later changed their name to REAL Milli Vanilli and released their third and final album – ‘The Moment of Truth’ – in 1991, separating a year later.
