Aussie band INXS formed in 1977, and were just in the 80s and early 90s, with songs such as The Loved One, Good Times, New Sensation and Kick.

They split after 35 years together in 2012.

The band was originally made up of Michael, Tim Farriss, Kirk Pengilly, Garry Gary Beers, Andrew Farriss and Jon Farriss.

Earlier this week (October 17), Fary, Kirk, Jon and Tim got together again at Sydney’s Intercontinental Hotel in Australia.

The musicians reunited to celebrate their new book Calling All Nations, which is described as a “love letter”, filled with pictures and stories from over the years.

INXS also released a limited edition vinyl release called All Juiced Up Part 2, which includes tunes such as Need You Tonight and New Sensation.

Keyboardist and backing vocalist Andrew spoke out about Michael at the event and what the future holds for them.

He said: “As people losing someone as talented, dynamic a frontman as Michael, it became really in the forefront of our minds that, okay, we’ve created this legacy and we own it.

“And so we’ll decide when we want to play or not.

“That’s the important point, to not have it dictated to what we can and can’t do when we feel like it.

“What is appealing to me is who that singer could possibly be.

“There must be someone that we haven’t even thought of or discovered or found it.

“That could be an amazing thing to happen.”

The band were last seen together in 2017 as they celebrated their 40th anniversary.

INXS, best known for songs such as New Sensation, The One Thing, and Original Sin, released 12 albums over their active years.
