Mark is playing the role of mob hitman in new movie By Any Means.

The film follows a notorious mafia hitman and a young FBI agent who team up to investigate the murders of civil rights leaders in 1966 Mississippi.

Mark was pictured on set in a grey suit, a white vest under his red shirt, a chunky gold watch and a gold chain around his neck.

The actor was seen waving to photographers in between takes, while fiddling with a toothpick.

Mark will star alongside Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who was seen filming speaking on a corded phone wearing a blue-grey suit, matching tie and white shirt.

The film is based on a true story about J. Edgar Hoover’s FBI hiring a hitman named Scarpa, who is portrayed by Mark.

It is set in 1960s in the south during the Civil Rights Movement.

The star-studded cast also includes The Morning Show’s Nicole Beharie, five-time Emmy nominee Giancarlo Esposito, Palm Royale alum Josh Lucas and Oscar nominee David Strathairn.

Mark always goes the extra mile when it comes to getting into character for his movie roles.

In 2022, Mark piled on 2st in just six weeks for his role in Father Stu.

Stu went from a six-pack clad fighter to an overweight preacher.

In the final four weeks before filming, Mark was on an 11,000 calories a day diet of burgers and ice-cream.

He revealed: “As an actor, I’ve always looked for roles that have a personal connection for me.

“I transitioned from running the streets as a teenager and young adult to finding my faith.

“I now realise that my purpose is to help others growing up in situations like mine.”

He added: “Eating every three hours took a toll on me. I don’t know if I’d be willing to do it again.”
