Nineties rock band Republica are back with new music for the first time in 13 years.
Singer Saffron shared the exciting news as she appeared on This Morning today – after taking a break from music to work as a mental health nurse.

The rock group, made up of Saffron, Tim Dorney and Johnny Male, formed in 1994.
Republica went on to have a number of smash hits including Ready to Go, Drop Dead Gorgeous and From Rush Hour With Love.
They split in 2001 and reunited in 2008.

Saffron, 55, made the decision to train as a nurse so she could look after her mum who was dying of cancer.

The singer opened up about the bands new single New Single, from their upcoming album Damaged Gods as she chatted to Craig Doyle and Cat Deeley today.
Viewers were very happy to see them on screen, with one person commenting: “Love Republica!!”
While someone else added: “Republica taking me back to my youth.”
And another remarked: “18 year old me is loving this!”
