Wheatus shot to fame in 1995 and originally consisted of Brendan B. Brown, Peter Brown and Rich Liegey.

Over the years they have released six albums – Wheatus (2000), Hand Over Your Loved Ones (2003), Too Soon Monsoon (2005), Pop, Songs & Death (2012) and The Valentine LP (2013).

Arguably their biggest hit is Teenage Dirtbag, which peaked at number one in three countries around the world.

Now the band, which now consists of Brendan B. Brown, Matthew Milligan, Gabrielle Aimée Sterbenz, KC Marotta, Joey Slater and Brandon Ticer, are touring the UK.

On Friday they performed at The Jolly Farmer in Newton Abbot.

Some fans will be able to take part in a meet and greet with the band, as well as take selfies with them.

There are plenty of other locations around the UK they will be visiting.

In the coming weeks they will be performing in Milton Keynes, Hertford, Stoke-on-Trent, London, Cambridge and many more.

Wheatus had to cancel some of their shows earlier this month.

Taking to Instagram, they wrote: “After an incredible time in Hull last night, Brendan woke up feeling very unwell this morning, and as a result we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone tonight’s show in Leicester and Tuesday’s show in Bridgwater to give him time to rest and feel better.

“We are working on rescueduling both of these shows to keep them part of this tour – so please hold on to your tickets and stay tuned for more information on all that as soon as we have it.

“Apologies and thanks for your understanding.

“We will rock extra hard for you very, very soon.”
