WE all get that sinking feeling when we’re slipping deeper and deeper into our overdrafts.
So imagine how Boy George is feeling now he’s been ordered to pay back £5million after Culture Club’s touring company has gone into administration.

George and the band, who had hits including Karma Chameleon, have been handed the pretty hefty plan by administrators – who have demanded they pay £500,000 every six months until December 2027.
The plan started last year and the last payment is due on 31 December 2027.
Mishpocha Touring, which was run by Boy George and his Culture Club band mates Mikey Craig and Roy Hay, went into administration last year owing almost £12.5million.
The firm had failed to repay a £2.5million loan and also had other debts, including £9.7million owed to US gig promoters Live Nation.
The band will look to pay some of that money back, as well as to other creditors including the band’s publicity team, owed £24,460, an employee owed £2,047, HMRC, owed £31,301 and accountants SRLV, owed £113,000.
Boy George, who was the major shareholder of the company which was set up in 2019, has tried to free up some cash to help out – including renting his posh £17million London house.
He also took part in I’m A Celebrity back in 2022 so I wouldn’t be surprised if a stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house would now also be rather tempting.
