DAVID Mitchell has made a big name for himself as a highly successful comedian and presenter.
On November 1, 2023, it was announced that he and his wife Victoria Coren Mitchell welcomed their second child together.

David was born in Salisbury, Wiltshire, on July 14, 1974.
He read history at Cambridge University and it was there that he met his Peep Show co-star Robert Webb.
Comedy took over David’s university life, at the expense of his academic success, and he ended up graduating with a 2:2.
David and Robert Webb scored starring roles in Peep Show in 2003, as flatmates Mark Corrigan and Jeremy Usbourne.

It continued for nine series, making it the longest-running sitcom in Channel 4 history, and David won a Bafta for the show in 2009.
The final episode aired in December 2015.
He and Robert have also had a number of successful comedy sketch shows under the “Mitchell and Webb” brand.
The pair will grace our screens again in January 2021 for the highly anticipated return of sitcom Back.
David also played surgeon Dr Toby Stephens in BBC2 sitcom Doctors And Nurses, wrote for sketch show Dead Ringers and voiced Mitch in Disney series Phineas And Ferb.
The comedian also stars in Upstart Crow, a comedy about William Shakespeare.

He has taken part in a number of high-profile government campaigns, including playing Pablo the Drug Mule Dog in an advert for FRANK.
Along with Jeremy Paxman and Richard Osman David has presented a lighter take on election night coverage called Alternative Election Night.
David is also a hit on comedy panel show Would I Lie To You? opposite Lee Mack.
Who is David Mitchell’s wife?
David met professional poker player Victoria Coren, the sister of Times journalist and restaurant critic Giles, in 2007 – and was immediately smitten.
They didn’t go on their first date until December 2010 after being introduced by David Baddiel.
Victoria told the Radio Times: “[Baddiel] specifically said to me, ‘There’s David Mitchell over there, I think you should probably marry him, I’ll get the ball rolling by introducing you. I thought that was ridiculous but, a couple of hours later, I thought I probably would marry him.”
The couple announced their engagement in March 2012 and married later that year before welcoming their first daughter in May 2015.
They live together in Kilburn, North West London.
On November 1, 2023, Victoria announced she had given birth to their second child.
She announced the news on social media, addressing how her clothes no longer fit her after giving birth the prior week.
Taking to X, formally Twitter, Victoria posted: “Many people are assuming my tweet yesterday was a Halloween costume. Not at all; last week I had a baby and nothing currently fits me except cloaks. Luckily, Only Connect is a pre-record. Happy All Saints Day.”
The entertainment couple called their daughter, June Violet.
