FANS of popular streamer and content creator iShowSpeed became alarmed after he posted updates about his health on his YouTube channel.
Darren Watkins Jr, better known as iShowSpeed, was in Japan when he started having what appeared to be migraine attacks.

What happened to iShowSpeed?
On July 30, 2023, iShowSpeed, or Speed, took to his YouTube page to share that he has been rushed to hospital.
It has not yet been revealed exactly what the problem was although it would appear that Speed was suffering from a possible migraine attack and had a problem with his right eye.
A few hours later, his cameraman, Slipper, shared an update on the streamer’s condition and told fans that Speed was going to be just fine.
He wrote on Twitter: “Docs saying most likely a severe sinus infection based on what they see from the CT scan.
“Eye doctor says his eye should be fine (no damage like blindness).”
He also confirmed that Speed had a severe case of sinus infection.
Slipper added: “Update: speed has went in with sinus-specific doctor to fully confirm that it is only a sinus infection. after that he will be in recovery room taking IV drip before discharging from hospital. thank you everyone for the concerns.”
Slipper went on to assure fans that Speed is on his way to a full recovery: “Btw his eye swelling should go down within next couple days. but he feels fine now, that’s what matters.”

How is iShowSpeed doing?
In an update to his X account, formerly known as Twitter, there was some good news.
The post said: “NEW: Speed has been discharged from the Hospital and is now feeling fine, also the swelling in his eye will go down over the coming days.”

It was accompanied by a picture of Speed with a large plaster on his forehead and showing a swollen right eye.
His doctor has told him the swelling should go down in a few days.
In a separate post, his dad thanked his fans for their support.
There was also an update that said that he has been getting some rest in the Tokyo hotel.
They also had plans to fly back to the US by Monday if he feels better.
What has iShowSpeed said?
The online star has been keeping his fans updated with any news of his progress via his social media pages.
He said: “I don’t know what I have right now. But, I’m about to go through surgery right now. I’ve been feeling s**t, literally.
“Just, very bad. Like, my eye’s… my eye’s puffing up.
“It feels like a stab. It feels like somebody is stabbing my eye with a knife.”
He added: “I wanted to give y’all boys [an] update because I don’t know what’s going to happen to me. You know what I’m saying?
“I want y’all boys to always be right there with me, until I die. It’s… I don’t know, man. But, when I get back home, I’m going to probably chill from traveling for a bit because… a lot is going on.”
He also shared a YouTube Short to describe his situation, saying that he was having “one of the worst experiences”.


Speed added: “I have this thing called a cluster headache right now. A deadly headache disease.
“I can’t sleep, I can’t eat, I can’t do anything right now.”
