HOLLYOAKS actress Jazmine Franks has announced she’s pregnant with her first child in a sweet post on Instagram.
The star, best known for playing Esther Bloom on the Channel 4 soap from 2011 to 2018, announced the happy news with a new photo in which she’s cradling her growing bump.

Wearing a tight-fitting black jumpsuit, Jazmine looks beaming as she poses in a fancy bar. Among the collection was also pictures of her scan.
Next to the pic, she wrote: “Here’s to the biggest adventure yet.
“Summer 2023 is set to be a wild one! Can’t wait to cause mayhem with a mini Franks-Potter.”
This will be her first child with personal trainer Danny Potter.


Her former co-stars were quick to share their congratulations on the exciting news for the family.

Jessica Fox, who announced her own pregnancy in October last year, wrote: “Oh my goodness! Congratulations beautiful lady! How exciting!! Xxxxx”
Doctor Who star Mandip Gill, who was also a resident of the Chester village series from 2012 to 2015, added: “Congratulations to you both! Wow wow wow. So so happy for you both !!!!!! ”
Actress Mollie Winnard also wrote: “Oh my goodness! CONGRATULATIONS JAZ! Made up for you”
Jazmine’s happy news comes amid a baby boom in the world of UK stars.
Strictly’s Aljaz Skorjanec and Janette Manrara confirmed today they were also expecting their first baby, with Gogglebox’s Scarlett Moffatt announcing she was pregnant on Saturday.
Love Island’s Laura Anderson also announced this week she is expecting a baby with Jazmine’s co-star Gary Lucy.
Love Island’s Amy Hart, Shaughna Phillips and Montana Brown are all pregnant, as is Bianca Gascoigne, singer Jessie J and Atomic Kitten’s Natasha Hamilton.
