Holland Taylor and Sarah Paulson won’t be walking down the aisle.
The “Two and a Half Men” alum explained on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show Thursday why she does not see a wedding in their future after nine years together.
“I don’t think [we’ll get married],” Taylor, 81, told “Radio Andy” listeners. “No. We’ve never talked about it with any interest.”
The “L Word” alum noted that recognizing their union legally “doesn’t seem to mean to [them] what it means to a lot of people.”
However, she clarified that they “would [tie the knot] if [they] wanted to.”
When Cohen, 56, gushed about her and Paulson’s love story, Taylor agreed, “We do have a wonderful resonance. We are very interested in the same kinds of things, and yet we share big differences.”
She admitted that her and the “American Horror Story” alum’s “big generational difference” does “worry” her for Paulson’s sake.
“But what can I do?” Taylor asked before sharing the plus side to their 31-year age gap.
“A lot of the things that she is going through that are very emotionally important to her right now, I went through 30 years ago or 40 years ago,” the former soap star said.
She and Paulson, 49, have been an item since 2015.
The “American Crime Story” star has gushed about her older partner numerous times over the years, most recently speaking about Taylor on the “Smartless” podcast.
Paulson confessed during the May episode that the “secret” to their successful romance is living in separate houses.
“We’ve been together for a long time now, and I think part of it has to do with, we’re together when we wanna be and we’re not when we don’t,” she said.
Paulson, however, went on to say that they never considered simply having separate bedrooms because they “like to fall asleep holding hands.”
Similarly, Taylor told Page Six in November 2023 that following their “own path[s]” has led to a “good balance” in their romance.
