Entering Cracker Barrel’s new contest isn’t the only way to get a real-life Hallmark Christmas experience. This year, Hallmark has created a special Christmas experience outside its headquarters in Kansas City.

The free “immersive” event brings “all the charm of a Hallmark movie town square” to life. Visitors can shop at a holiday market, send Christmas cards, snack on tasty treats at the food hall, enjoy a holiday light show, and go ice skating. Special ticked events include panel discussions with Hallmark channel stars, including cast members from shows like When Calls the Heart and The Way Home and movies such as Three Wise Men and a Baby. Hallmark stars will also participate in weekly Reindeer Games.

Attendees can also sign up for workshops with Hallmark artists and writers, where they’ll learn about holiday journaling, wreathmaking, ornament-making, and more. There will also be a holiday pop-up bar, breakfast with Santa, and other dining experiences.

The Hallmark Christmas Experience runs through Dec. 22. You can find more details here.

Can’t make it to Kansas City for Hallmark’s Christmas extravaganza? You could also visit a town where Hallmark has filmed one of its holiday flicks.

Many Hallmark movies are filmed in and around Vancouver, British Columbia, but production does sometimes take place in other locations. Big Bear, located in the picturesque mountains not far from Los Angeles, was the filming location for 2013’s Snow Bride. Wilmington, North Carolina, was the filming location for USS Christmas and Christmas in Conway, while Moonlight & Mistletoe was filmed in Chester, Vermont. Christmas Land was filmed at Pioneer Village in Farmington, Utah. One Royal Holiday was filmed in Woodstock, Conn., while Christmas On Honeysuckle Lane was filmed in Old Wethersfield, Conn.
