Gypsy Rose Blanchard deletes social media so she ‘won’t get in trouble and go back to jail’: report

Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s parole officer is reportedly concerned that the convicted felon-turned-influencer’s social media activity could land her back behind bars.

Blanchard — who served eight years in prison for the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard — deleted her accounts “at the advisement of her parole officer, so she won’t get in trouble and go back to jail,” a source told People Friday.

Page Six has reached out to her reps for confirmation but did not immediately hear back.

Gypsy first deleted her public Instagram with 7.8 million followers in exchange for a private account with a more minuscule following earlier this week, and then took to TikTok to explain her decision.

“I do my best to live my authentic life and what’s real to me, and what’s not real is social media,” she explained Thursday in a series of videos that have since been deleted.

“Social media is literally a doorway to hell. It’s so crazy. I can’t even wrap my head around what social media is.”

Gypsy, 32, claimed at the time she had a conversation with her father, Rod Blanchard, who gave her some guidance when she felt like she “really need it.”

She said after their chat, she realized real life is “something you can touch, something you can feel.”

“People you can actually hug. And with the public scrutiny as bad as it is, I just don’t want to live my life under a microscope,” the “Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard” star further explained.

“So, I created my private Instagram. And I got it verified. And I had no trouble or doubts of deleting that public one.”

Shortly after, Gypsy also deleted her TikTok and does not appear to have any intention of returning to her once highly followed accounts.

The former inmate garnered a big following after she was released from prison, as her court case had been turned into a hit Hulu series, “Mommy Dead and Dearest,” and garnered lots of media attention.

Gypsy’s trial tugged at people’s heartstrings since she was a victim of her mother’s abuse because of Munchausen syndrome by proxy, an illness in which a person fabricates symptoms to gain sympathy.

After the former prisoner created her social media accounts, she quickly went viral for making a suggestive comment about her sex life with husband Ryan Anderson, stating that his “D is fire.”

However, Gypsy’s recent posts seemed a bit milder, simply sharing last week she dyed her hair blond.
