GOOD Morning Britain had a new look presenting partnership today as Susanna Reid jetted to Ukraine.
The programme’s regular host broadcast live from Kyiv as the ongoing conflict in Eastern Europe reaches its first anniversary.

She said of the Ukrainian people’s resilience: “There doesn’t seem to be any weakening in their resolve at all. I spoke to a number of people during the day yesterday and everyone is resilient.
“They might be be broken in part by what they’ve been through, but they’re not destroyed. They’re bouncing back. They have faith in their president. We saw him standing in the hole created by a missile that destroyed the middle part of a block of flats in Borodyanka. He stood there where families had been killed and the people feel he is symbolic to them. He is keeping them going. He is there resilient leader. They’re not weakening at all.”
Former politician Ed Balls and broadcaster Ranvir Singh anchored GMB from its London studio in her absence.
It comes after we revealed how ex-Cabinet Minister Ed, 55, and his Shadow Home Secretary wife Yvette Cooper have taken in a Ukrainian family.

Ed was inspired after dancing with his Russian partner Katya Jones on Strictly – who has been giving the girls dance lessons.
Labour MP Ed said: “What Putin has done to Ukraine is horrendous – committing war crimes and driving families from their homes.
“Lots of people across Britain have welcomed Ukrainian families and we have an incredible family who have been staying with us since April, while their friends are staying round the corner.”
“Their dad and grandparents are still in Ukraine so they have been back to visit but the continued shelling and power shortages make things very hard.”
Ukrainian youngster Yeva, who lives with them, is even taking part in dance competitions with a fellow Ukrainian named Zakhar – with the pair winning a competition at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom where Strictly is filmed.
Ms Cooper added: “Yeva and Zakhar are amazing dancers and it’s been inspiring to see them training every day and winning competitions despite everything that’s happened.
“No children should ever have to go through what is happening to Ukraine, and we need to keep supporting their country against Putin’s aggression.”
