GLASTONBURY ticket holders have been left worried the Arctic Monkeys may not perform after they pulled out of a show with illness.
Alex Turner’s band are due to headline the world-famous festival’s prized Friday night slot.

The group are due to take to the Pyramid Stage stage at 10.15pm, after Royal Blood.
However, the Arctic Monkeys tonight cancelled a gig in Dublin where they were supposed to perform to a crowd of 40,000 people on Tuesday, 20 June.
A statement from the band explained that singer Alex is suffering from “acute laryngitis”.
It read: “We are extremely sorry to announce the cancellation of Arctic Monkeys’ show at Marlay Park in Dublin tomorrow.

“Alex is suffering from acute laryngitis, and following medical advice, has been ordered to rest.

“Alex and the band apologise for the huge disappointment this will inevitably cause all their Irish fans.”
However, one worried Glastonbury fan tweeted: “How long do you need to recover from laryngitis? Asking for a headliner.”
Another added: “Arctic monkeys cancelling ???? better be okay for glasto pls pls pls.”
A third wrote: “Obviously Alex Turner’s health comes first but if the Arctic Monkeys have to pull out of Glastonbury I will be bereft.”
The Sun revealed last year that the band had agreed to headline the Pyramid Stage for a third time.
A source explained: “The band are in the process of putting together their team and are working on making their performance one of Glastonbury’s most memorable.”
