GLASTONBURY Festival has announced the dates it will take place next year.
In a newsletter, the event organisers heralded this year’s event as ‘the best yet’.

They said: “Hello! First of all we’d like to say a huge thanks to everyone who came to Glastonbury 2023 or who watched (in record numbers) at home.
“Michael [Eavis] was in the office this morning heralding it as ‘definitely the best one yet!’ and it’s hard to disagree.”
Looking ahead to 2024, they then told fans the festival will run from Wednesday, June 26 to Sunday, June 30.
This year’s event was headlined by Arctic Monkeys, Guns n’ Roses and Elton John – whose career-spanning set was described as the best ever by some.
The clean-up operation at Worthy Farm might still be in full swing but that hasn’t stopped fans speculating about next year’s headline acts.

They already think they’ve cracked two of them in Foo Fighters and Taylor Swift.
Both acts are in the UK next June but conveniently have Glastonbury-sized gaps in their schedules.
The Foos, who appeared on the Pyramid Stage this year under the guise of The Churnups, appear more likely, with their final UK show in Cardiff on the 25th.
Taylor could close the festival, but she has back to back stadium shows in Dublin in the days before. The US megastar was meant to top the bill in 2020 before the coronavirus pandemic forced the festival to shut down.
Organisers confirmed a female act had been booked to headline this year but pulled out after changing her touring plans. However, there could be two women headliners next year to make up for it.
Emily Eavis said in March: “Next year it’s looking like we’ve got two female headliners, so fingers crossed.”
