Police say that Victoria attempted to hire a hit man to kill her husband, ‘Ghost Adventures’ star Aaron Goodwin.
Victoria Goodwin was in court in Las Vegas on Tuesday for a preliminary hearing after being charged with suspicion of solicitation and conspiracy to commit murder.
Goodwin – who is married to Ghost Adventures star Aaron Goodwin – was arrested March 6 after police discovered messages between her and an inmate at a Florida prison where they discussed plans to have her husband killed.

For her March 25 appearance at Las Vegas Township Justice Court, Victoria wore a blue prison jumpsuit and had her hands shackled. Her attorney told the judge that his client would waive the hearing. She is due back in court on April 8, KSNV reports.

Victoria’s alleged murder-for-hire scheme was discovered when prison authorities in Florida discovered the inmate’s contraband phone.
“Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce,” read one of the messages police say she sent the man, according to TMZ.

Police say that Victoria, 32, set aside more than $11,500 to pay someone to murder Aaron, whom she married in 2022. She then shared information about Aaron’s schedule and the hotel where he’d be staying while filming Ghost Adventures in October 2024.

After her arrest, Victoria told cops that she was only daydreaming about killing her husband, though she did admit there were problems in the marriage.
The seeds for the murder-for-hire plot were planted in March 2024, when Victoria began to communicate with Grant Amato, who is serving a life sentence after being convicted of murdering his mother, father, and brother in 2019.

Victoria reached out to Amato after seeing him in the docuseries Crtl + Alt + Desire. The Paramount+ series explored how Amato killed his family after stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from them. He used the money to fund an online relationship with a Bulgarian cam model.

Aaron filed for divorce from Victoria on March 12. In court documents obtained by People, he said that he and his wife were “incompatible to the extent that it has become impossible for them to live together as husband and wife in marital harmony.” There was “no possibility of reconciliation between husband and wife,” he added.
On March 22, Aaron made his first public statement after his wife’s arrest. While he did not comment directly on the case, he did share a message on Instagram expressing gratitude for the support he’d received following his wife’s arrest.
“Thank you everyone for all the love and support through this emotionally trying time,” he wrote. “It has really helped a lot and I appreciate you all.”
