Gemma Collins slams Meghan and Harry Netflix documentary as a ‘p***take’

GEMMA Collins has hit out at the new Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Netflix documentary – calling it a “p***take”.

The former The Only Way Is Essex star hit out at the docuseries, which landed on the streaming service today.

Gemma, 41, said that she loved The Duke & Duchess of Sussex, but felt that the documentary episodes just “aired dirty laundry”.

The three-part series was released at 8am today – seeing the couple dive into their “love story”, as well as their ongoing royal feud.

Despite admitting she had admiration for Meghan, 41, and Harry, 38, she hit out at a number of “mistakes” she thought they made.

She told The Mirror: “I’ve got to be honest, I really like Meghan and Harry, but the only thing I would say is they do need to be loyal. They shouldn’t be airing any sort of dirty laundry in public.

“The only gripe I have with Meghan was when she called the family ‘The Firm’, I thought that was a bit near the mark.

“To be honest, it was a p*** take. I thought, ‘Jesus you’ve got some balls’ but I don’t think I’d have the balls to.”

Gemma acknowledged that she felt it was important to note that the public “only get told certain information”.

The Diva Forever star encouraged viewers to veer away from making hateful comments, as she added: “I think everyone in their lifetimes deserves to be a free spirit. Do what they want to do.”

It’s not the first time that Gemma has stood up for Meghan and Harry – as in 2019 she hit back against online bullying.

She told The Sun: “I understand how Meghan feels. I don’t understand why everyone has to be so brutal online.

“I definitely would come off social media, like she did, because I think it’s very unhealthy.

“But should I let the bad energy win? Why let the negativity of others win the day? I will never ever let the baddies win.”

It comes after Meghan and Harry released their bombshell £88m Netflix documentary after promising to reveal “whole truth”.
